Importance of Exposure
“IF I CAN SEE IT, I CAN BE IT”
Dream Hustle Code traveled with 25 High School Students on a HISTORICAL Tech Trip from Chicago to Silicon Valley + Los Angeles in July 2019.
EXPOSURE is critical for students, especially in underestimated communities: ‘they cannot be, what they cannot see.’
Students were able to see a BIGGER VISION of what's possible for their Future and that the possibilities and opportunities in tech are real and are available for them too!
Our MISSION is Simple
Level the tech playing field so that kids from underrepresented and underestimated communities have access, opportunities, and exposure to Computer Science + Technology Creation and Innovation.
We aim to inspire their confidence and interest and show them that creating and shaping technology is possible for them, and that they are the missing variable of the Tech Equation.
